Thank you to Joan Lahti, Ph.D., of Get To The Point Books for sponsoring a 45-minute webinar on my e-book, Are Your Star Performers Packing Their Bags?  How to Persuade Them to Stay.  Participants from across the country (and globe) reflected on their own retention tactics, and saw how to navigate this user-friendly workbook approach.   I offer similar sessions -- in person, online, or using blended technology, for any size group.  Contact Joan for a reference:

Ugly Ducklings, All

During a recent discussion of Women Who Run With the Wolves, we shared stories of our own early years as ugly ducklings.  In Chapter 6, Clarissa Pinkola Estes re-tells and interprets the classic story about being viewed as a "problem" before finding our wings.  It is critical to "keep moving" - no matter how many false doors we knock on.  And, if you've yet to be called "incorrigible" -- there is still time!"

Women & Wolves in the Secret Garden

Five of us met and created a collage that portrayed themes we discussed online, based on the book by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Women Who Run With the Wolves.   We plan to continue our discussions, which are weekly, one-hour, online gatherings, using 'Go To Meeting'.  We employ headsets and some of us also use webcams.  Fairly straightforward technology that fits our busy lives.  But every once in a while, we need to connect in person, share stories and wine, and make something happen!  See below for more information.

Best Quest for Zest Continues!

The Secret Garden, in Yalesville, CT, was the magical setting for a four-part series, titled "Mid-Life Zest Fest".  All four walls are covered with a hand-painted, original mural.  Women gathered to chat, meet new friends, and explore ideas.  The series culminated in a collage-building session.  See photo below.  Do these women look like they are ready to take a back seat?  Georgian
