"Mid LIFE Matters" - Wallingford Public TV

I host a half-hour show on WPAA-TV celebrating women's wisdom and wit.  Fascinating women share their stories and growth mindsets:  The YouTube link for over 100 segments is https://www.youtube.com/@georgianlussier8542/videos

I am honored to win the 2016 Community Media Rika Welch leadership award for community impact; a testimony to the Guests who shared their stories on MidLIFE Matters.  In addition, an 2018 interview I did with Judith Altmann, a Holocaust Survivor, won an award.  In 2020 and 2021 two other awards acknowledged the content of interviews dealing with Child Sex Trafficking in CT and Non-Profit leadership. In 2023 MidLIFE Matters won First Place for a Profile Talk Show. A 2024 award was for a segment on Wellbeing.

Book Review by Business Owner

Building success In the Trades provides a concise look at exploring early, mid and advanced careers in the trades. Today as more and more individuals are being directed to college rather than the trades, this book outlines the options of pursuing a trade. It also allows the reader to realize that the trades may not be for them.
The demands for tradesmen are growing along with excellent pay and benefit opportunities. This book points out what is important in determining and in succeeding in the trades – work experience, education, and licensing. It also provides excellent instruction on preparing for interviews and resume writing.
Easy to read, this book is an excellent tool for individuals who are considering or seeking careers in the trades. Having had ownership of a home construction company, I found this book to provide sound advise for individuals exploring the trade industries.  Diana
